As Branch Manager of Ashford Mortgage Advisors, David Kanis brings financial savvy to Asheville after spending over 14 years in the mortgage industry in Atlanta, Georgia. During those years Atlanta had one of the hottest real estate markets in the nation leading up to and after the Olympic Games. Meanwhile inner cities across the nation, such as in Asheville, North Carolina, was going through  re-gentrification.

Later, during the refinance boom, David Kanis, also known as David K, was one of the top producing loan originators for First Horizon Bank.

His prestigious list of achievement awards include The Presidents Club Award for 25 million in annual production; The First Horizon Gold Club; The First Horizon Platinum Club, and The Ambassadors Circle Award for Achievement
